Jonathon- The waiting game

Waking up at three in the morning in order to fly to Detroit for a five hour layover is the definition of Dr. Williams’ mantra of the day: “hurry up and wait.” Though I am ridiculously tired from finishing homework late last night, the waiting just adds to the anticipation of the trip. I am so excited to meet new people, experience new things, and share my research. The longer I wait to get on the last leg of this trip to Beijing, the more I look forward to our visit. I know that great things are ahead, and I know the waiting will be worth it.
