Nimit- Awaiting a long but exciting journey

Beep-Beep-Beep! 2:45 AM. The alarm goes off. Brush, shower, get dressed, PACK! Nah, I’m just kidding. The start to what is going to be a long day was quite early. I got to the airport at 4AM, where I met everyone. Checking-in at the airport by myself for the first time was not as hard as I thought it would be. “Hello…Place your bag here…Let me see your passport…you’re all set,” the person said. Once I got on the plane, I talked a little with Tom about my senior year. However, within 30 minutes, my lack of sleep overcame, and I fell fast asleep. Upon reaching Detroit Airport, Jonathan and I got a quick bite from McDonalds, and I then finished my homework. Now, I’m sitting at Gate A24, waiting with great anticipation on boarding the plane and reaching China! I can just imagine walking on the Great Wall of China, meeting the delegates from other countries, and even dancing on stage to some classic American Pop! But for now, I’m just waiting to watch two to three movies on the plane and catching up on some sleep!
